QUOTD: Graffiti edition
I was walking on the second floor of Hunter west building when I saw a swastika written in thick black marker on one of the elevator doors. An elderly gentlemen on observing the same said.
"Oh my g-d... that swastika is backwards what an asshole!"

He was being sarcastic sweetie. Of course thats not the important part, but it did take a way from the affect from the shock of seeing it. It's kind of like if you saw a bear driving a car and a guy says "Oh my g-d that bear isn't wearing a seatbelt." get it?

Well, yeah I guess. but i think he was being funny.

And also...since when did QOTD get a U?

Wow Dina, the separation between you and Randy is getting more and more blurry every day. It just seems that there should be a 'u' with the 'q'.
And Alison, the guy was being sarcastic. In that he was jokingly making the wrong comment. The right thing to say would have been "Wow, a swastika. That's messed up," or something else to that effect. However, that comment would have been obvious and perhaps cliché. So in maybe in an attempt to add a little levity to the scene, he got creative and pointed out a less obvious aspect of the situation, that the swastika in question was going counter-clockwise rather than clock-wise as is the custom with the swastika used by Nazi Germany. DOES EVERYBODY UNDERSTAND NOW?

Nah, there totally shouldn't be a U there.
I should establish a board for QOTD's and elect myself chairperson (since I'm founder, anyway) and we'd do quality control. Given, this is an awesome quote. But alas, that U is SO distracting!
